A: When students participate in surveys and contests, the organizers sometimes use TechCASH value for incentives/prizes. For accounting purposes we deposit these funds into a plan separate from the regular TechCASH plan.
The TechCASH system will look at this plan first for purchases, and if there is not enough value in this plan, will automatically draw from the regular TechCASH plan.

A: First, check your account management page to see if you have more than one 'plan'. A plan is how we store funds within accounts. If you have multiple plans (like a rewards plan) then the registers only show the balance from the plan the purchase was made from.
